MacRumors, can you please give me some insight?
I have a MacBookPro running Mavericks 10.9.3 currently. The computer does not seem able to remember Finder settings, particularly the scrollbars. I'll start up the computer, open a Finder window, and see the window uses the "invisible scrollbars/only as needed" that I dislike. I then go into the Settings and choose show the scrollbars always, and it seems to work.
For a while.
While the computer is still on (same session in which I changed the preferences), the computer will end up forgetting that setting and we'll be back where we started.
I've tried removing the Finder preferences and creating a fresh copy with the proper settings, but it hasn't worked. Other Finder preferences (like the desktop wallpaper) have no problems.
Can anybody give me any suggestions?
