I am looking to switch over to Mac and I want to get the 13'' MPB for portability. Its mainly going to be used for browsing, word, excel and for editing pictures.

Is the base 13'' with 4GB going to be suitable for this?

Thanks in advance

Would it still be suitable if I wanted to run Window 7 in either BootCamp or Parallels?

Hi I'm about to buy the latest model of a brand-new computer, is it going to be powerful enough to look at e-mails?

Thanks in advance

I have a 2.2 GHz Macbook from 2007 with 4 GB of RAM that I use often to run Windows in Parallels. Works great. Faster than the work laptop I use that is running Windows.

As long as you have 4 GB or more, it will be great for what you want to do. The Windows installation needs at least 1 GB allocated to it in order to function well.

I was also considering the low end 13" model. Will it be powerful enough to turn on when I press the power button?
