I have created some family videos with iMovie'11. The default template music are either too long or too short for my created videos (as I did not quite follow the template video outlines but modified them instead). As a result, I have to look for my own accompanying background music.

As it's too tiresome for me to create my own music with GarageBand from scratch, would the GarageBand Jam Packs (Symphony Orchestra, Voices, etc) be the correct components to use that will come with available music that I could use immediately for my iMovie videos?

Would it be hard to "trim" or "stretch" the music if my videos are shorter or longer than the Jam Packs music? I know I can't do that with the template iMovie'11 music.

Thanks for all advice.
