Hi, I`m going to buy an iMac but want to be able to run this and my existing windows pc on the same broadband internet connection (Tiscali). I`m assuming this is possible but have no idea how to do it or what I`ll need to buy in the way of cables, hardware etc. Any suggestions would be welcome!

I'd suggest getting an Apple airport extreme

as you can see from the image, there is an ethernet input (from your modem), and several ethernet outs (for multiple computers). The PC can be hooked up via this route, and you have the otion of using the wireless signal for the iMac, or you could also use ethernet too for the iMac. You can connect a printer or External drive to it which both the PC and Mac can access. All in all, pretty sweet.
