Advice needed on non-ACD display

Hello fellow MR members!

Since the 24" ACD is no longer available and the new 27" is a bit excessive for my needs, i am in the market for a display that will let me hook up my MBP 13" without too much hassle - preferably a display that has mini displayport if possible.

I am looking for some thing in 22-24" range - what are your experiences? I am really intrigued by the built-in magsafe, usb ports and displayport that the ACD has. So i guess my question is whether or not there is something similar available?

Magsafe is only with Apple ACDs, it's their tech.
I'd go Dell or even a nice Samsung.

Cheers! Any specific model recommendations? I should say that i am not going to do any major graphical work, i merely want a bigger screen to increase my workspace.
