Hey Guys, need some advice on decent Mac Proxys,
my issue is that we have recently moved into an open plan office, where we rent out a couple desks to freelancers and they can come in a work for a set period of time.
We currently have a 50mb Fibre connection and I want to install a proxy, or set one in place via OS X Server to limit bandwidth to certain users and and restrict what they can access. The rest of our staff I want to able to give full access, if that makes sense.
Im NOT looking to use the proxy as a caching service, just more as a control mechanism.

Thanks

I personally would look at your options for segregating those users onto a separate VLAN / wireless SSID and impose a per-device bandwidth limit at the WAP or router.
