Advice needed to upgrade iPhones.

Hi All

Looking for some feedback to upgrade my girlfriends phone - and hope you can help.

She currently has an iPhone 3gs - and will upgrade to an iPhone 4 ( not 4s ).
Would like to have new phone in same setup as old one.

Her Macbook is running SnowLeopard.

Here's what I think needs to be done.

1) Plug in her 3GS iPhone and sync.

2) Update her iTunes to the latest version.

3) Plug in the new iPhine 4

4) Choose to 'restore'

5) Update iOS to latest version ( iOS5 )

So now she will have all her email settings, contacts, etc. etc. that was on the old phone - but on the new phone running iOS 5.

Is that correct? Or have I missed something?

I think you should upgrade iTunes first and then sync and backup the 3GS.
