There seems to be a number of these 30-pin Bluetooth receivers/adapters available on Amazon and elsewhere. They are recommended primarily for 30-pin docks and such. I've got an aftermarket 30-pin iPhone/iPod adapter connected to my car stereo (no Bluetooth) and was thinking that this might be a cheap and easy way to use my new 5s without cables or retrofitting to a new Bluetooth capable car stereo.

Anyone have any experience and recommendations with these?

Seriously? No one?

I have reviewed this one.

CoolStream Bluetooth Receiver for iPhone Dock.

5 stars I rated it. I got it as a sample from Coolstream. It is $40 which is expensive vs the other ones sold on amazon.

Here are a bunch of other ones:

I purchased this from kickstarter http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/auris/auris-skye-wifi-for-your-dock. It uses airplay by creating direct wifi network so you get no loss of quality while streaming, it also lets you stream data and there fore other streaming apps like pandora or spotify. I plan on connecting it my car, and i curriently use the auris bluetooth receiver which uses bluetooth 4.0 its alot better than any other one on the market.
