Friend's iPhone 5c was damaged on new years. Display is tearing as can be seen in the linked images. From standby to on, the display appears clean and progressively deteriorates over a period of about 30 seconds until it looks like this.
I'm thinking the display connector may have become dislodged? Or ribbon tear perhaps? Any idea what's damaged and potential fixes? I'm happy to pull it apart, just wondering if i'll need a new connector/other replacement part?
