My Macbook's fan is often very loud (I know its nothing to do with print jobs or permissions or any software issue) and I was wondering what I could do to reduce the temp. of my Macbook and the fan noise level. The apps all run smoothly, so I'm pretty sure I don't need to upgrade my RAM

I was thinking some sort of cooling pad.

Any ideas?

Thanks

had the same problem. Its a hardware problem (the fan) the only way to fix it is to replace the fan.
