Hi Guys,

Im looking to elevate my 17 Macbook Pro when at my desk.

What are your opinions on these four products;.

1. Griffin iCurve
2. Griffin Elevator
3. RainDesign mStand
4. RainDesign iLap

Cheers

I think the MStand is the nicest looking, being all metal. Search for Setup part 4, or something like that, and there are posts of people's computer setups. There you will see all different stands displayed.

I already own a ilap and I was looking at those exact same ones as well. But after using the 17" on an ilap on the desk, since the 17" is much bigger than the 15" mbp I had with its ilap, the 17" is perfect with an ilap on the desk plus you can just carry it around and put it on your lap. It is perfect, I'd highly recommend the ilap. Also the ilap is made out of aluminum and it dissipates the heat very well and you wont feel any heat whatsoever on your lap and is a joy to use.

My friend has the Griffin Elevator. Very nice. Solid aluminum construction stand with clear plastic base. Easy cleaning, leaves nice space under the computer. Good ventilation.

Personally going to buy one myself. Not very expensive.
