So I am moving 3 of us over from Sprint to Verizon. I am hoping to get 1 5S and 2 5Cs (though maybe 2 5S and 1 5C would be nice - but I figure limited quantities will make that hard). The other two lines are for my parents, and I was planning to basically get all 3 phones, activate them, then port our numbers over in mid October when I fly out to visit them (setup them up, etc).
I also have a corporate discount on Verizon I can add before or after I order the phones.
What is the best way to do this - I assume I should focus on my 5S since that is the most limited (hoping for a 32GB space grey). Here are the choices
1) Order the 5Cs on verizon.com or apple.com today - order a 5s on Friday at 3am. Will ordering them separately cause me account pain? Or can I sort that out later? I'd prefer apple.com I think.
2) Order the 5s on apple.com - deal with 5c later - assume it won't be hard to find a couple somewhere - but its a risk (I am going to see my parents in mid Oct).
Any other suggestions? I assume its ok to port the #s after the fact, and to add my corp discount after the fact is ok too.
My only goals are to make sure I have the 3 phones in hand by say October 10th (sooner is better) and can eventually port all 3 numbers.
