This summer I dropped my iPhone in the ocean and both cameras stopped working. Everything else is fine, but three months on the cameras are still dead. A few weeks ago I opened up the phone and removed, then put back in the rear camera, but no dice.
Before I decide to spring for the 4S, I want to try to replace the camera. Should I just but a new rear camera and replace it, or would it be more involved in that? If not, where should I buy it from? Any advice appreciated.
