Hi,

I've got a laptop for which I am about to purchase a 320gb hard drive. I use mac OSX mostly (because clearly it is the best ;) ). However seeing as pc games are far cheaper than mac games I am contemplating getting a windows system for my mac. Price is no objective however I would like the windows os to take up as little room on my hard drive as possible. I have the following queries...

  1. Which windows version (eg XP, vista, 7) should I use for good compatability with games?
  2. Which one : 64 bit or 32?
  3. should I put the windows version on a partition or load it up using sunbox (a mac virtualiser)? bearing in mind I want good performance from games on my 2.1 ghz, 2gb ram laptop

Thanks so much everyone!!!

I would go for windows 7 on a partition. You will not get good enough performance on a virtualizer to play games. I don't really think there is a reason to use 64-bit. 64-bit just is good if you have more than 4 GB of memory. I use 32-bit vista and it works fine with games.
