So I've recently invested in that $98 4gb of ram from ebay and I'm ready to put it to the test. I've been hearing a lot about unstable ram, so I wanna make sure I won't have to keep taking apart the case... those small screws drove me insane!
I have the 2.0ghz Aluminum Macbook. Right now I'm running these programs simultaneously:
iTunes, PandoraBoy, iPhoto, Photo Booth, Preview, AIM, Firefox with 12 active tabs (couple youtube videos, some large flash sites), Vuse, Entourage, Quicktime, Calculator, Stickies, iCal, Word and TextEdit.
So far it's running beautifully, but I don't want to come to any sort of premature conclusions. At what point do I deem this Ram safe?
