Hi all, if I have a macbook air and a PC, which of the following makes more sense to you guys?
1. Getting time capsule and backing up my macbook wirelessly using time machine, and using the time capsule to transfer files wirelessly (periodically) between my macbook and PC, or
2. Getting an external hdd and backing up my mac using time machine (wired using USB)?
Besides cost which is not really a primary issue, my concern is that though option 1 is theoretically much more hassle free, the transfer rate over my wireless network might be much slower than if it were connected using USB2.0 yes?
Also I already have a router from my ISP and the time capsule wont really be able to "unleash its full potential" since I dont use its airport capabilities?
Please correct my misunderstandings if I have any. Thanks
