advice on uploading training videos to itunes for ipad

Does anyone have any experience in uploading dvds to itunes to use with ipad? I have a freeware source videora that was designed for ipods, but was wondering if anyone has used it with their ipad.

Use handbrake. I think lifehacker or some website had a post on iPad video profiles for handbrake.

And it's free too!!!
