Looking to buy a new macbook pro . . . need some advice . . . I'll be using my computer for these things:
-Adobe CS6 Suite (image editing, indesign, photoshop, illustrator). Probably not going to use for video editing but would like to have the above three apps open at the same time without significant slowing down.
-web/internet
-word processing
-skype
so Im thinking 4 to 8gb sdram, intel i5 (i don't need the i7 do I?), dual core and 2.2 or higher ghz.
Any comments on the specs? Should I up it to 16 sdram? Would that help the adobe programs run? Or should I be fine with the 8 gb? Or would 4 gb even suffice? (I have an external with time machine set up as well, don't know if that matters). Thanks!
