Hey,
About a walk and a half ago I spilt a gin and tonic over my MBA (rookie error).
It turned off almost instantaneously. Took it to an Apple approved place the next day and they said the logic board is broke, the display is broke, the fan is broke and everything else is broke too.....
Turns out they were wrong, just plugged my MBA in now and am typing this thread post here.
So my problem is now the following... on the logic board they showed me in the store where the liquid hit the litmus spot where the display lead attaches. So yeah its red now not white. But all the other ones are fine.
When I bought the MBA I got 3 year coverage apple care plus. The battery doesn't really charge much, so is there anyway I can get them to fix it for free. Or am I doomed if it breaks further down the line?
Thanks everyone
