Advice? Take a chance or order from Apple

So on the 17th I became eligible for the 199/299 plan. So if where me would you order from apple and take the shipping of July 14th or take a chance and hope to find one at a retailer? I dont have the kind of money to order the phone and cancel if I get lucky enough to see one in any of the retailers. Thanks for any advice.

I order from Apple if the orders are this far behind I don't think you are going to see much non-reserve stock. even if it's a extra week at least you know when you are getting it.
