I need some advice on what External Enclosures I should buy for an old Apple 256GB SSD and regular Hitachi 2TB HDD that was from my now dead 2011 27 inch iMac. I was able to get the two original drives that came with the machine out and would like to use both drives in external enclosures for my new 2017 27 inch iMac 5K.

My two hard drives are : Apple TS256C Media; Real name:

1. Toshiba THNSNC256GBSJ 9.5mm 2.5" SATA 256GB SSD

2. Hitachi GST Deskstar 7K2000 HDS722020ALA330 (0F10311) 2TB 7200 RPM 32MB Cache SATA 3.0Gb/s 3.5" Internal Hard Drive Bare Drive

For the Toshiba SSD drive I was looking to get USB-C 3.1 connection, with USB 3.0 usability. I looked it up and found this SSD drive is a Sata 2 drive 2.5. so slower speed than Sata 3.

For the Hitachi, I would love an enclosure that is USB 3.0. Not sure I will get that speed out of the old Hitachi, but rather have a USB 3.0 connection.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I included the picture of the SSD. I took off the side brackets with a Torx screw driver after I took the picture. It seems to have a power plug next to the sata connections.
