My Canon Pixma MP510 (inkjet/scanner/copier) died inexplicably after 34 months. I had no plans of replacing it but it just won't power up. Canon tech support's online forums suggest a bad logic board.

I'd like to replace this for under $75 since there's a number of options (even used/refurbished) in that range. I do have a lot of extra ink (generic) but I can sell that on CL or Ebay.

I do scan often so that's needed, but fax isn't really something I need. Copying is very handy too.

ALSO: I would love it if there were a printer that would allow me to print in black when one or more of the color cartridges are empty. I think some HP models do this. Duplex and printing to DVDs would be a nice bonus too. (I don't ask for much, do I?)

What are your suggestions? I'd like to order something today or Sat.

Thanks!
