So I applied at a really nice bakery on Sunday, and I kind of had an interview (if you want to call it that), and the assistant baker showed me around the bakery, the oven, etc. and I told her what I'm comfortable with, what I've done at my current job, what I've done at school, and previous jobs. She seemed to really like me, and she told me I'd work out well.

She said she'd talk to the head baker today, and she'd call me after 1pm. (due to the part I was working till 1.) The bakery is open till 7pm.

Should I still be expecting a call from them today?
 
If they don't call you today, call mid-morning tomorrow. Ask to speak with the person with whom you interviewed. You should come across as interested, but not overly eager.
 
The assistant baker called me last night at 8. She was hoping I was still interested in working, and I was told her yes I was, and she said "GREAT! Cause we want you to work here, so come in on Saturday at 6am and we'll work on some shaping and mixes. Then we can talk scheduling, pay, etc..."



...STOKED! So happy!
