Hello guys. I have an iPhone 5. Should I restore it to iOS 7, update it from iTunes or update it via OTA? Thanks a lot.

If you are doing an OTA...I would wait for a few hours....cause the servers are going to be hammered with people updating

Thanks. But I meant: could there be some problems via OTA? Since its an incremental and not a full update. Like: could it bring bugs or malfunctions? Do I need to restore since it's a major update? Or just be cool with OTA? Thanks.

noone can exactly say. Try to update via OTA, if you will have any problems try with iTunes.
I will be trying also via iTunes because i will be setting as new iPhone.

IOS 7 just went live on my iPhone. OTA

I will be curious how long this takes to download.

UPDATE: and... it failed. Trying again.

UPDATE: The time remaining keeps increasing. It is at 16 min now. Maybe I should just cancel it and installed the GM?

I'm getting the OTA update on the phone, but in iTunes it says it's up-to-date. Weird.

I have to free up some space before I can run this, apparently.

Update OTA, then do a clean install if you have any problems.

I installed the GM using iTunes without a clean install and haven't really came across any issues.

Trying again... 6 mins remaining. But as soon as it switches to 'Preparing ...' it keeps failing.

iTunes won't update either, and iTunes says my iPhone/iPad are up to date.(I'm assuming because iTunes isn't updated??).

Effer, failed again. Blast. I guess I'll just wait :(

I've tried 3 or 4 times to update OTA on my iPad Mini, but it's failing about halfway through every time.

Funny..........

iOS7 shows available ON THE PHONE.

Took forever to get iTunes 11.1 to start a downloand on computer. Got it on the PC, but the Mac keep bailing.

Anyway, after the iTunes upgrade, it still reports 6.1.4 as the current version, no update.

So, I'm going with OTA as well........for now.
