Hi everyone,

I would like to purchase a Blu-ray burner for my mac pro Desktop 2009

But I want to make sure that it is fully OS X compatible

Because I red a review in amazon.com for LG WH10LS30 blu-ray burner that says it does not allow burning within OS X Finder

I do not want to have this problem after I install it on my Mac pro

And another thing I want to make sure about,

is that it is fully compatible with Bootcamp Windows7 ultimate 64-bit

Can someone guide me to that blu-ray burner, which brand & model number ???

Thanks for your help

I have that LG Blu-ray burner from OWC (Other World Computing). The Mac Pro kit is plug and play simple, and have burned Blu-ray discs without any problems via Adobe Encore. No drivers or anything needed!

By the way, on OWC's website, the part number is LGEWH10LS30KMP, but in my Mac System Profiler, it shows up as just WH10LS30. It might be the same, or might be modified, but it works as advertised!
