I just ordered a new 60watt charger for my 13" Macbook Pro, the cable has frayed at both the MagSafe and charger end. Now I'm thinking about replacing the cable, as the guide on ifixit.com makes this appear quite trivial. The only problem is the reviews on these replacement cables on Amazon and eBay do not inspire confidence. Does anyone here have experience with this, do the cables on newegg.com hold up? Is there a source for replacement cables that's better than the others?
