Advise on 8gb jailbreak

Hi guys,

Friend having problem and confuse over 2g or 3g of ipod touch.
He try jaibreaking using jailbreakme.com after he slide jailbreak now the safari will go back to previous webpage. Should he use sprit insteads or jailbreakme should work.

Ipodtouch 8gb

3.1.3 (7E11)

He's on 3.2.3? I think jailbreakme.com is for 4.0 and 4.0 only. So yeah Spirit would be your best bet because it's for 3.1.3
