Adware removal for Mac? Does it exist?

I have googled adware removal for Mac and there are plenty except

they are all for the PC.......they are all exe files!!!!!! I guess this is

a windows geek joke on Mac users. Anyone know a real osx scan

site that they have actually used. an ad has gotten through
safari....

the first screen that pops up is "possible idn spoofing detected"
if you click okay it goes away for 2 minutes and comes back
so you click tell me more and you go the page to buy their crap
