Greetings and salutations
What would cause the behaviour below? I am not able to connect to the 2,4GHz network (Amiga500) of my AEBS, but the 5GHz network connects fine. Apologies for the wonky proportions.
I recently renamed both networks and set tougher passwords. Apart from that, I made no changes to Airport Utility's settings.
The AEBS is in Off/Bridge mode, being connected with a LAN cable to our ISP's modem. Under Wireless, it still says Create a wireless network, and under Wireless Options I have the 5GHz network active (unhidden) and the channels set to Auto for both networks.
If I change the channel for the 2,4GHz network I get an error and then Airport Utility says "Device Not Found" in a bubble next to the AEBS.
I also activated wifi on the ISP modem/router. Could that have something to do with this strange behaviour?
Edit: The behaviour is also intermittent. For instance just now (at close to midnight as opposed to during the day) I actually did not get the disconnection in the gif above when I selected the 2,4GHz network.
Thank you in advance for your help
Philip
