I have the latest generation AEBS (model number MC340Z/A, Europe). But when AirPort Utility tells me to upgrade the firmware, it says I have the 4th gen...

Is the upgraded version in Europe still the 4th gen, is AirPort Utility making a mistake, am I paranoid? It's just that I bought this AEBS because I wanted the 5th gen, and asked the seller who promised me it was.

Is there any way of verifying whether I have the 4th or 5th gen?

You have the 4th gen.

Yeah, I figured... Man, I'm so annoyed. Apple only sell one Airport Extreme, and this store (Apple retailer, only Apple products, but not an actual Apple Store) charged the same in-store for the AEBS as Apple does online, and I even asked if it was the latest generation AEBS...

If I want to buy a base MBP 13", I would never even ask if it's a 2011 or 2010. I can't be the only one that feels they've tricked me and should give me a new AEBS, despite it being two months since they sold it to me?
