Ok for all owners of the older AEBS (802.11n) circa 2007-2008, as you know we have been stuck with an extremely bugged 1.4.2 firmware for about a year now with no hope in site of a needed update and feeling sad and abandoned by

All seems not lost. About a month ago I emailed sjobs and explained my issues. Surprisingly I received several calls a few days later. Speaking to one of their engineers, he had my upload my log files and assumed never to hear back again. Shocked, I received another call about a week later saying that they may have found something and are working on it. Several weeks go by...
Now, to my surprise, the Airport Utility update was released a few days ago with 1.5.2 firmware for our older AEBS's! I am happy to report that all my usb/hd woes are finally a thing of the past!!!! Woohooo!!!! Long have I waited for this day! Also my airport express is running Airtunes via my AEBS flawlessly now.
So for those who are still using the older AEBS, check Airport Utility for the update!
