Like many others, I had to downgrade from 7.4.1 to 7.3.2 firmware because the newer firmware caused too many problems.

When I did so, I deselected the checkboxes in Airport Utility so that the AEBS would not look for updates nor automatically install them.

Now, every time I boot up, my AEBS is flashing an amber light and Airport utility launches to tell me that AEBS has a problem and that I should update my firmware.

I have no problem AFAIK, and do not want to deal with the 7.4.1 experience again.

Do I have a problem (with my AEBS) and how can I stop this error message?

Already unchecked

That's what's confusing me. Not sure why it would know that there is an available upgrade if the box is unchecked.
