I bought this fancy Samsung ML-1630/xaa at the Apple store w/a Macbook, running Leopard 10.5.1

Have it connected to an Airport Extreme Base Station (AEBS).

I could see the ML-1630 in AEBS printers area. And I was able to correctly add the printer via the printer add utility in Leopard, after downloading the right driver from Samsung website . I was then able to print quite successfully. :D

The next day I go to print and can't print to the Ml-1630/xaa attached to the AEBS. I check through the airport utility and it no longer sees the printer.

After further troubleshooting, I have determined that if it turn off printer and cut power to AEBS, wait 30 seconds. And then I turn on printer and then turn on AEBS, the Samsung printer is recognized again.

But the Samsung ML-1630 is only accessible for a maximum of two minutes, after which is is no longer seen by AEBS and I can't print.

If I repeat the power cycle dance it will work again for up to two minutes.

Any suggestions short of cycling the power constantly?

AEXP Drops USB printer too

I have the same exact problem, except that I have an HP Laserjet 1020 plugged into an Airport Express. Have you found an solution yet?
