I'm not sure if I'm using this term correctly, but is the following possible using an AEBS:
Force all *outgoing* traffic requesting a certain port (i.e. the SMTP port) to be redirected to the SMTP port of a specified IP address? So this is the reverse of port forwarding of incoming traffic.
The purpose of this would be to automatically cause SMTP traffic to head to the SMTP server of my ISP, which is the only one I'm allowed to contact while on my home network. In that way, my computer could stay set up for the ISP at school (which is also the only one that works *there*), and the router would pick up the slack and redirect to the right SMTP.
Is that technically possible?
