I have tested the WAN to LAN speed and WAN to WiFi speed on Apple's latest Airport Extreme out of curiosity.

The test is done with two Unibody MacBook Pro; one connected to the WAN port, the other to LAN. The test was done over FTP with one of them set as server. A 85MB file was transferred

WiFi connection was draft-n, 5Ghz, Wide Channels.

WAN to LAN: 120Mbps (fluctuates around 15MB/s; Tops at 15.5MB/s)
WAN to WiFi: 55Mbps (around 6.8MB/s)

Thought there are some people who might want to know this. I was wondering whether to get a 50Mbps (HK$188/US$24.1) or 100Mbps (HK$208/US$26.6) Internet Connection. I was worried that my router couldn't handle the speed.. Now nothing can hold me back!!! =)

good to hear, I just ordered one as well. How do the speeds compare to your previous routers?

For $2 more a month, I'd pay for the bragging rights :D
