Looks like a pretty cool app. I wonder if it ONLY uses keyboard shortcuts, or if it does window snapping with the mouse too. I like the way it lets to do quarters instead of just halves. I may check it out.

Currently I have been using HyperDock. It gives you window snapping, and window previews when you arrow over the dock icon.

Download BetterTouchTool:

It allows you to create custom multitouch gestures with your trackpad, but the first thing it asks after you install the utility is if you want to enable the windows snapping feature. Its great and free!

Hyperdock (free) and Cinch ($7) both do this. I can drag a window to the edge of the screen and it will SNAP! into the proper position. Awesome for pixel pushing in Espresso.

I hate the snap feature of win7, every time, I move my windows in win7 it tries to snap them. I frequently have multiple RDP windows open as I maintain servers. The snap feature really gets in the way, so much so, i finally disabled it.

May I ask how you disabled it? The feature bugs me as well.

Its not in a place that you would think it should be.

In the control panel, go to the Ease of Access center, and select the Make the mouse easier to use.

remove the checkbox for “Prevent windows from being automatically arranged when moved to the edge of the screen”

Cheers for that. It drives me insane does that automatic snap. I may be using my PC a lot more than I used to.
