Anyone from Canada use the Aeroplan eStore to purchase their new Mac? I'm looking specifically at the umbpro at $1,899. Does the eStore work for refurbs?

Thanks!

I'm pretty sure the Aeroplan eStore works exactly like airmilesshops.ca (the AIR MILES version).

If that's the case, you're actually shopping from the Apple Store (or whatever retailer you choose). You just happen to navigate there by signing into the eStore first with your points account.

The eStore doesn't actually stock the merchandise, nor does it facilitate any of the transactions you make. You're still shopping from Apple's online store. You just happen to be earning points.

Ergo, refurbs should work fine.

EDIT: Sorry for the double post. My Safari browser wasn't responding. I blame Steve Jobs. Mods, feel free to delete this one.
