Afew quick questions on partitioning!

I've recently purchased a refurbished MacBook Unibody. It's hard drive has been partitioned 120gb mac os x and 120gb windows. As I have no need for windows I want to return it to a single volume. In doing this will it erase all the programs/files on the mac os x disk??

Nope it won't. It will just delete the windows partition. your mac one will still be there.

It won't hurt to have a backup just in case though
