Affordable 11 x17 scanner ?

So I woudl love to upgrade to a something bigger, so I can can illustrations w/o having to paste them together.

I've done some searching but havent seen anything thats affordable ( say sub 300 ? ) for mac os x

any help ?

unfortunately anything that involves 11 x 17 always seems to be just beyond the line that defines "affordable"

I totally agree. The terms large scanner and affordable price never seem to appear together.

Large scanners = large price ..
