Is there any reason why AFib History and AFib Alerts can't both be set on? I occasionally get AFib, and while it's good seeing my history of the frequency of those events getting tracked it'd be nice to know when they're happening too (unless they're REALLY bad, I just can't tell). At the moment I have a reminder set to take an ECG at regular intervals, which is fine, but it'd be nice to get history and alerts.

Have you looked at this:

Have you looked at this:
Irregular Rhythm Notifications are disabled if you have AFib history enabled. They're "not designed for use for people who have been diagnosed with AFib". I don't understand why, what's the difference if I've been diagnosed or not? It's probably regulatory, but it'd be nice to know why.

You could either contact Apple or talk to your doctor what devices are out there that do what you want

I agree, would be really nice to have both. From what I've seen with history on it is sampling much more often (check data for HRV, it's every 15 mins with history on). So I agree with the regular checks you should be able to at least have a setting to alert you that you are in Afib!
