i want to format my windows xp, may people said that i must format my windowx from my mac and go to disk utility and click erase on windows bootcamp, but is there safe? i will not lose my data in my mac?

Sorry not quite clear on what you want to do.
Are you just trying to remove an old bootcamp partition?
If so then use the bootcamp assistant to remove it ... that's the cleanest way and the way least likely to get you into trouble.
