Hi everybody,
I just wanted to share an issue I’m encountering after updating to 11.3 (20E232). I’m using an external soundcard (ESI MAYA22) which is connected via USB directly to the Mac Mini 2018. The MAYA22 does not require an external driver but uses the core audio driver according to the manufacturer.
When shutting down my Mac and turning it on again, the audio volume now resets to maximum every time. However, when I use “reboot” instead of “shut down” the volume is stored and kept. The issue did not occur before the update to 11.3.
Anyone with a similar problem? I already reported it to Apple, hopefully it will be solved with future updates.
Tobi
