After a clean install of 10.6.3 I cannot recover Chrome bookmarks from backup

Hi there,
I recently wiped my macbookpro and did a clean install of snow leopard 10.6.3. Prior to this I used Time Machine to backup my old data onto an external HDD. However, I do not wish to fully restore all of my old data, just to pick and choose what I need when I need it. However, I can't seem to locate where google chrome stored my bookmark information, as I do not want to lose all my bookmarks it would be great if anyone has any advice as to where I should be looking.

According to this web page, the location is "$HOME/Library/Application Support/Google/Chrome/Default/Bookmarks"
