The marketing is right on point. Even after 3 days I still can't believe how light it is in comparison to my iPad 3 (which I sold for $252.00 at gamestop).

It is lighter, runs cooler and is faster (not to mention sleeker looking). A very nice upgrade from the 3rd gen.

My wife, who is on the iPad 2, may now upgrade.

Good God man, you should have given the wife the iPad 3 and traded in the iPad2 to Target for a guaranteed $200 gift card.

Big problems! My eyes are glued to the screen and my hands will not let me put in down!

All hail the Air!

Same here, each and every time I pick it up im shocked at how light and thin it is all over again. Its an amazing device despite what the paid MS/Samsung interns on here would like you to believe ;) :D

Went from ipad 3 to the ipad air as well.

I still have my ipad 3 and yesterday wiped it to prepare to sell it and the weight difference between the air was very noticeable.

Amazing Apple was able to squeeze the same screen and make it slimmer and lighter while not sacrificing battery life in the Air.

Yea, +1 here.. Couldn't put it down all weekend. Huge upgrade coming from the ipad2!

I upgraded from iPad 2 as well, can't believe the iPad air is even lighter than that! Sure, it feels slightly more fragile/flimsy but you can't have it both ways.

She will trade in her ipad 2 for about $225.00 cash to gamestop (if she decides to go with the air).

You sold it at GameStop? Surely you could get a better price elsewhere? No?

Maybe, but gamestop is the easiest. No hassle. And you can get the price on-line before you go. Just show up with the device and they hand you cash. No shipping needed, no wait.

They even gave me $5.00 for an old ipod shuffle that I hadn't used in probably 3 years.

I also prefer cash over gift cards or store credit, because I prefer the freedom of cash to use wherever I want and not be locked into a particular store.
