I purchased an iPhone about a month ago and have been loving it! It synced up perfectly with my work email (Exchange). Our IT department does not support iPhones, but it worked for me just by entering my account information.

Anyway, yesterday my Exchange mailbox notified me that it was becoming too large, so I went through my usual process of archiving mail from my work desktop. Immediately, the iPhone lost connection to the Exchange server and has not been able to restore connection.

Does something in the archive process cause this to happen?

I deleted my mail account on my iphone and re-registered it. It was able verify my account info in step 1, then in step 2, it could not verify it. I selected to 'save' the account anyway, but it says it can't connect.

At first I was thinking that our IT department wised up to the fact that many employees are using iphones, and they turned off a setting or something, but then I realized my phone stopped syncing at exactly the same time I archived my mail.

Anybody else have this problem?
