As the title says. In iTunes, I cllicked on convert selection for iPod and the end result was all of my movies without sound. WTF:confused:
I guess I'll just use another app for the other videos, but on some, I deleted originals, wanting to conserve HDD space. How can I return sound to them? Aw geez!

the same thing happened to me on my new macbook. when i transfered my videos over from my powermac, they played fine but had no sound.

i used handbrake and podner to transfer them.

does anyone know if this is caused by some problem with quicktime?

Use iSquint from now on.

Hmm i had that problem when using isquint. However, it only happened when my ipod was in my pocket for a long time so the heat may have affected it. It plays movies with sound now and I didn't change anything. I have no idea what would cause it other than being too hot possibly

i solved my "no sound" problem by udpating to quicktime 7.1.1

now the videos work fine
