Using mac book with snow leopard version 10.6.8. I closed my mobile me account after it expired. I am not using the cloud. When I tried to sync my 2nd gen ipod touch using usb cable, I lost all my ical data on my touch. Before deleting mobile me, I exported all my calendar data from mobileme cals and imported all data into new calendars "on my mac". The only way I could set up new calendars was by setting up a new group. Don't know if this has anything to do with the problem. Everything else on touch syncs. I tried resetting the touch. I also reset sync history in isync. At least I think I did this. Touch was not connected to MacBook at the time. Nothing has worked so far. How can I get my ical data to sync to my touch?

Well, you could use iCloud…
