After downgrading from High Sierra Handoff doesn't work

On my Macbook Pro 2015, I had to reinstall my macos, so I downgraded it to Sierra again.
Now, it doesn't see neither my watch nor my iPhone via Handoff, which worked before.
I also logged off and on iCloud with both the iPhone and the Macbook. That didn't change anything.
Has anyone suggestions, how to troubleshoot my problem? Is there something in the logs, I should look for?
