After El Capitan update photos stopped syncing with iPad and iPhone

Prior to update photos,contacts and calendars synced perfectly fine with my laptop but after I updated the OS on my MacBook sync would start with syncing contacts and calendars then just freeze on Photos with no end.. No longer syncing photos with iTunes to my iPad and iPhone. This is frustrating.

Anyone else have this problem? If so, how was it resolved? Hope Apple is reading this...
 
Anyone have this problem or figure out how to resolve the sync issue?
