Verizon unlocked my first iphone 4s so that I can use local sims in europe.
but does verizon need to unlock my replacement phone again?
I called them up and their network was down, so unable to answer my questions.
anyone know if this verizon unlock is my phone number related or the device number(MEI something) related?
Thank you!

It is tied to your IMEI number and they will need to unlock your replacement phone. I hope this helps!
